The TSA Country Ballad of the Year was also awarded to Brendon for the title track of his latest album and current single, "Bottle Tree Lane" - a tribute to the WW1 servicemen from Roma, Queensland, the town where Brendon grew up. Bottle Tree Lane was also named Best Australian Country Bush Ballad at the ACMLA (Australian Country Music Listeners Association) People's Choice Awards.
